Join us for a night of entertaining, thought-provoking and inspiring science talks as we bring you the London Famelab Final 2026 on 16 April.
FameLab International is the world’s largest science communication competition, designed to find and support the next generation of science leaders. Contestants have just three minutes to explain a scientific, engineering, mathematical, or social science concept in an engaging and accessible way, without PowerPoint or notes.
Our finalists will compete for a place in the UK FameLab Final at the Cheltenham Science Festival. 🔭 ✨
🎤The event will be hosted by none other than Dan Hope, known from the Science Museum’s science comedy troupe ‘Punk Science’, his children’s science books, and his role as ‘Basil Fawlty’ for the internationally touring Fawlty Towers show.
🔬 Our expert judging panel:
Suze Kundu – Nanochemist, Science Communicator, and Research Community Engagement Consultant for the NASA-funded Science Explorer (SciX) platform
Catherine Loveday – Professor of Neurophysiology at the University of Westminster
Tiffany Baptiste – 2025 London Finalist and UK runner-up, from King’s College London
Whether you are a student, a science fan, or know nothing about Science, all are welcome to join us for an enlightening and highly entertaining night of great science communication!
The event is free and open to all.
