Join us for a four-session online course exploring how plants inform our relationship with the earth, ourselves, and other forms of consciousness.
‘Plant Gazing: Exploring Botanical Consciousness Through Creative Practice’ invites you to view the plant world through multiple lenses including art, botany, animism, and philosophy. Together, we’ll observe the plants around us, both indoors and out, through drawing, painting, and writing.
Led by artist Joseph Walsh and hosted by IMT Gallery, the course includes meditations, creative exercises, and guided activities designed to open up new ways of seeing, sensing, and co-existing with nature.
This course is for anyone interested in developing a more attentive and creative relationship with plants and the natural world. It is particularly suited to artist, writers, educators and other creatives interested in nature, ecology and consciousness, as well as gardeners, herbalists and anyone wishing to deepen their relationship with plants.
