The International Centre for Contemporary Music (ICCM) presents the inaugural concert of their Spring mini-series highlighting the work of contemporary Eastern-European composers.
Performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, two dramatic works are the bookends for the UK premiere of Thierry Escaich’s futuristic organ concerto. What ties these works together is their dramatic language and their unique, unmistakable ethnic flavours – a must-hear repertoire, most of which is being heard for the first time in London.
