About this event
Habito and Skateboard GB are pumped to be throwing a Go Skateboarding Day 2021 at Hackney Bumps, London.
We’ll be celebrating all things skateboarding just a month ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, where it’ll feature alongside 28 other summer sports for the first time. #rad
We’re calling all families, young people or curious spectators to come along and get stuck in. There’ll be beginner lessons, street-art workshops and make-your-own-deck classes. To top things off, we’ll be joined by Skateboard GB rider Alex Decunha. He’ll help us judge the highest ollie competition with the winner taking home £100 cash. (Go get practising!)
If you’d rather keep your feet on the ground, you can come along to watch in person or catch the competition part as it streams online – more details to follow.

Activities at The Bumps
3 pm – Starts
3.30 – 4.00pm – Beginners session 1
3.45 – 5.00 pm – Street Art workshop
4.15 – 4.45pm – Beginners session 2
5.00 – 5.30pm – Beginners session 3
5.00 – 6.30 pm – Do your own board workshop
6.00 – 6.30 pm – Jam format skate, with spot prizes given out for good skating
6.45 – 7.15 pm – Highest ollie competition
7.30 – Ends
