The final event in Barratt London’s Festival of Culture is due to take place on Sunday 13th December at 11am and will be streamed from the housebuilder’s Ridgeway Views development in Mill Hill. Following on from the Festival’s previous virtual events which have included a jazz brunch, art class and cookery class, the final instalment will see choir Invicta Voices perform a range of Christmas favourites.
Invicta Voices is one of London’s leading a cappella choirs. Originally formed from University of Kent alumni, they sing a range of musical styles and have performed at many prestigious venues across London including The House of Lords, Kings Place, and St Martin in the Fields.
Matt Bamford, Invicta Voices’ Musical Director, comments: “Christmas is a very special time in the musical calendar. The ongoing pandemic has definitely made things more challenging for us this festive season, but we are still trying to make the best of things and performing at virtual events, such as this one, is the main way we can do that. We’ve all had to adapt, and I hope this online concert still provides some Christmas cheer for those watching at home.”
Pam Reardon, Sales and Marketing Director at Barratt East London, said: “Christmas is going to be a bit different for us all this year. With Christmas markets and light displays cancelled we hope that this concert will give our audience some much needed festive fun.”
