Join The Long Play Sessions on Saturday 10th October for a special evening with Steve Mason, founding member of The Beta Band, celebrating his memoir Failure Is Always an Option.

From the extraordinary rise of one of Britain’s most influential and unconventional bands to his acclaimed solo career, Mason will look back on a life spent making music on his own terms, sharing the stories, experiences and creative highs and lows behind the records.

Steve will be joined in conversation by acclaimed author and cultural commentator Travis Elborough for an intimate and wide-ranging discussion about music, creativity, success, failure and survival.
