John Radclive’s unimaginable job of hanging rogues and murderers have collected dark tales over the years. Hear about the first and second hanged man Cornelius Burleigh; notorious cop-killer Marion “Peg Leg” Brown; Kate Gardner, the only local victim of serial killer Dr. Thomas Neill Cream; and many others. What holds them all together is a date with the gallows, either as spectacle or spectator.
