‘A DIY PARTY,  A FIERCELY INDEPENDENT VENUE, AND A PROPER GOODBYE’

‘ DIY disco par excellence’ Club Mofo returns to Corsica Studios for one final night this March, marking 23 years (on and off) of Club Mofo and the end of a long relationship with one of London’s most fiercely independent, community-minded venues.

Born in 2003 and raised on bad ideas and good taste, Club Mofo Live (aka Club Motherfu*ker if you enjoy poking the algorithm) is a woman-run, DIY live music do made by self-declared anti-promoters, ‘Daughters of the Kaos’. Think emerging bands, rogue DJs, zero genres, and a house-party atmosphere that’s one drink away from getting shut down.

A refuge for queerdos, misfits, and future headliners before anyone knew what to charge for them, Mofo has always chosen community over cash (there’s no money in the underground, darling). The night has endured (on and off) for over two decades on trust, and the ancient British tradition of word-of-mouth whispered outside in the smoking area. It settled at Corsica Studios after surviving London’s usual habit of eating its own, and returns for one final night at the venue before it closes.
