Join us for a special event with authors Yoav Avni and Jack Davies to celebrate the publication of their new novels, Time Clocks and Jove
Together, they will look at how fiction uses realism, mystery, suspense, time travel, espionage, memory, and humor to move between the strange and the intimate. Their conversation will ask what happens when stories cross borders of time, place, culture, and form – and when the past keeps pressing against the present. At heart, both novels are about people trying to make sense of a bewildering world.
Come for the stories. Stay for the conversation. Leave with the sense that even the strangest plots are, in the end, about us.
