WellBEING by Nileeka

WellBEING is a 3-hour programme personally designed by Nileeka to provide you with a selection of everyday tools for physical & mental wellness. The event will be streamed Live from the studio.
Nileeka is a Founder & Creative Director of Noble MGMT and The Bollywood Co. She has been running dance classes throughout lockdown and creating socially-distanced events for the community to enjoy. She also has a passion for opening up the discussion about mental health and promoting a well-rounded approach to wellness.
AIMS OF THE DAY
Learning to manage our everyday wellbeing has never been more important. In this programme we will learn about and practice three wellbeing techniques:
– understanding language, thoughts & behaviour patterns and how these can contribute to personal success
– exploring movement as a pathway to mindfulness
– breathing and yoga
Each of the three sessions will be led by an expert in the respective field. We are delighted to bring you our three guest coaches who will guide you through the process:
JAMIE BODY – SPEAKER & NLP COACH
Jamie Body is a speaker and an NLP coach & mentor for creatives and businesses.
He combines his years in the entertainment industry with his marketing and journalism experience to help creatives, freelancers, and businesses build the career they want.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) looks at how you communicate with yourself and others, taps into your internal resources, and helps you realise that you are enough and that you are the solution.
We will work on limiting beliefs, self-talk, and the way you treat yourself and your mind, look at your unbiased conscious so you can connect the dots and release your full potential. NLP will help you set and achieve goals, grow in confidence, and take action. Let’s kick your inner critic and boost your self-belief.
STEPHANIE LAVINGTON – YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Stef is a yoga instructor with a passion for sharing. She loves the power the mat brings you mentally and physically and the tools it provides you with on the mat and off the mat.
In Stef’s dream world yoga would be taught to everyone, whether you’re a newbie or an advanced yogi guru there’s always something to learn and room to grow. Her goal is to help you recenter by recommending you to find intentions that mean something to you.
PRIYANKA CHAUHAN – COMMUNITY MOVEMENT PRACTITIONER
Priyanka is an inclusive arts practitioner whose focus is on using dance to lift our own well-being and the wider communities. She creates unique movement sessions that centre around four key impacts of dance; positive mood, confidence building, socialisation and expression.
By placing these impacts at the forefront of dance she hopes to highlight how dance can be another valuable tool in our toolbox for wellbeing, helping to bring more joy, more self-awareness and more connection into our lives.
