Virtual Art Studio by Love, Builder of Worlds

You are personally invited to April’s Virtual Art Studio by myself Love, Builder of Worlds.

I’ve been thinking about this virtual art studio for a minute, explore my hopes regarding this event in my blog. It is a space for artists, aspiring artists and curious people.

Hosted on Zoom, there will be captions, text chat and a transcript available.

Depending on vibes and attendees going forward this virtual art studio can operate like an IRL art studio with plenty of offerings. It can serve as an art tutorial space, a place to vent, an organising meeting, a book club or joint meditation.

There will be several break out rooms for quiet body doubling, solo rooms, and rooms based on different art mediums such as a writers room and fiber arts room.

For the April session I am offering up:

The importance of experimenting

Together we will explore the following:

-Resourcefulness and experimentation

-Examples of experimental approaches in art and culture

-Brainstorming ways to experiment

-Methods, processes and practical creative tips

The virtual art studio is space for creative coaching, experimenting and collaboration. I will be facilitating a space for artists and creative people to share their ideas, thoughts, aspirations and struggles.

It is a virtual event, for people from all over the world to join from the comfort of their homes.

You will receive a ticket to the event which includes a calendar invite and zoom link for the event.

This space will always prioritise African people, disabled people, queer people, poor people, sex workers, houseless people and neuro-diverse people first and foremost.

This members only space is limited to people that agree to the following:

We retain the right to refuse admission for any reason.

We will not tolerate disrespectful behaviour and all persons deemed disrespectful will be ejected without refund.

If you buy a ticket and cannot attend the event you are eligible for a refund if you wish.

There will be swearing (foul language) and emotionally mature themes being discussed.
