Event Navigation

In-between Spaces brings together works by Turkish painter Muslum Teke, whose practice centers on the human face as a site of psychological depth and inner reflection.
Moving between figuration and abstraction, Teke approaches the face not merely as a physical form, but as a vessel of emotion, memory, and unspoken experience. His layered surfaces and expressive brushwork reveal the fragile boundary between visibility and feeling; between presence and absence.
Working primarily with oil and acrylic, Teke embraces the materiality of paint as a trace of thought and sensation. Rather than offering fixed narratives, his works open a contemplative space, inviting viewers into a silent dialogue with the human condition.
