UNIVERSITY GOSPEL CHOIR OF THE YEAR UK (UGCY) IS A GREAT NIGHT OUT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!
After achieving success in previous years, UGCY is aiming to stage the most spectacular show yet.
This annual Gospel choir competition brings together the best of the best from across the UK, in an epic soul-stirring showdown, for just one night only – 25th March 2023.

University Gospel Choir of the Year UK is now in its 11th year, and has never failed to impress – with 8 choirs battling it out live on stage at the Oasis House. This event is guaranteed to leave you uplifted and inspired.
Our judges who will preside over who is crowned UGCY 2023 are:

– Durham University – Durham University Gospel Choir
– University of Birmingham – UoB Gospel Choir
As always the competition will be full of dancing, laughter and roaring cheers (and a few tears!) with our seasoned Gospel Music gurus judging the competition ultimately deciding which choir will be crowned the 2023 UNIVERSITY GOSPEL CHOIR OF THE YEAR!!
UGCY is proud to be able to provide such a unique platform for University Students to display their talents! We invite you to experience the CREATIVITY of these students with their UPLIFTING songs and performances as many have done since 2011!
