Welcome to Kawkab Bashar (Planet Bashar) where each one of us is a universe revolving within the sonic spheres.
Bringing forth his musical opus so far, Bashar will be sharing some of his most known works with the London crowds, while offering an exclusive sneak peak of his upcoming debut LP that is collaboratively produced by the iconic Producer, Howie B.
From satirical societal critique to witty commentary and upbeat tunes, Bashar’s performance will take us through a rollercoaster of emotions, reflecting the ups and downs of life.
London-based Kuwaiti singer-songwriter Etaf will be opening the night, ushering in traditional Khaleeji sounds and rhythms, seamlessly interweaving rich Arabic scales with contemporary music, creating a soundscape that is both familiar and refreshingly new.
Sonic polymath and eclectic electronic composer Howie B, who has worked with U2, Bjork, Tricky, Brian Eno, Sinead O’Connor, Sly and Robbie and Everything But The Girl, will be honouring us with a sonic serving to seal our musical rotation of the night.
