Join us for an evening of talks in the new Gallery space at Peckham Levels (level 5) where together, we will endeavour to answer the key question: How can one live more sustainably in a throw away world?
We’ll hear from 4 speaker including Chris Davis, the International Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Campaigns at The Body Shop. As a B-Corp certified brand, the environmental agenda is at the forefront of their business model, paving the way for other companies to implement sustainability on a corporate level.
At the local level, we’ll hear from the founders of Peckham’s first zero waste store, Gather. As an alternative to large supermarkets, Gather provides people with an easy way to make small, everyday changes that make a real impact.
And on the theme of plastic waste we have Ric Baldock, leader of the Plastic Free East Dulwich initiative, and Sophie Tait, an environmentalist blogger and campaigner who reduced her plastic use by 80% and created a website, Trash Plastic to help others do the same.
The talks will be followed by networking drinks and the opportunity to meet like- minded campaigners, thought leaders and practitioners from the wider impact space.
