TENDER IN LONDON: In Love with Contemporary Czech Photography Exhibition

The broad spectrum of human vulnerabilities and desires raging from motherhood to abandonment and inspired by Allen Ginsberg’s thoughts on ‘tenderness’ is presented in the new London edition of Tender, a group show of contemporary Czech photography that premiered in New York in 2019. Highlighting the work of New York-based Marie Tomanova alongside Tereza Zelenkova and Hana Knizova from the London Arts scene, the exhibition introduces 12 Czech photographers using a deliberately wide range of photographic strategies – from snapshot-like images that have appeared in the context of fashion editorials to post-conceptual works.
