A three hour workshop for absolute or recent beginners
This is the ideal (and really fun) way to start or consolidate learning Argentine tango, focusing on the basic steps and good technique from the outset.
No partner required.. We will attempt to match equal numbers of leaders and followers and therefore pre-booking and payment is necessary to help us do this

During the workshop we’ll be covering:
Walking
Crossing
Ochos
Pivoting side steps
Floor movement
Opening closing embrace
Changes of face
Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start on schedule.
Shoes and clothing
Shoes are the most important thing. You don’t need special dance shoes for the workshop but please wear something supportive with a smooth non-stick sole (such as leather or plastic but not trainers, chunky boots or rubber soled footwear) as you’ll be pivoting on the ball of your foot and sliding the foot along the floor. With clothing, just wear something comfortable and casual that you can move about in.
