Produced and presented by Lovely, Dark & Deep Productions, “Storms, Maybe Snow” is a bittersweet family drama of banter and fury, grief and laughter. Written by Miranda Lapworth, the play follows Lou and Jack, whose long history of jokes and silly games is tested after Lou’s recent diagnosis. Jack tries to steer his birthday dinner through the choppy waters of Lou and their daughter Mariana’s antagonism, cheerfully abetted by Mariana’s partner Isobel. On a stormy night, hidden truths come to light, and lifelong bitterness finally boils over.
The show runs from Wednesday 25 to Saturday 28 March 2026 at 7:00 pm, with a running time of 2 hours 20 minutes including interval. It is suitable for ages 12+ and contains references to cancer, death and suicide, strong language and flashing lights. Tickets cost £20 (concessions £16, including booking fees).
