Funny Women is the destination to discover, connect and grow with humour. We show women from all walks of life how to use comedy and humour to build their confidence, explore their creativity and have a voice. We strongly believe in equal rights and opportunities for all; by empowering female-identifying voices, we can contribute to gender parity in our industry and beyond.
From our Comedy Crash Course to our Stand Up to Stand Out workshops, performance is encouraged, participation is mandatory, and laughter is absolutely non-negotiable!
We’re best known for the Funny Women Awards—an important industry platform for women looking to break into comedy. So far, over 4,000 gob-smackingly talented comics have taken part in 17 competitions, and our alumni include, Sarah Millican, Zoe Lyons, Sarah Pasco, Katherine Ryan, London Hughes, Desiree Burch, Kerry Godliman, Rachel Parris.
