The concert will also include music by John Rutter, Adolphe Adam, Bob Chilcott, seasonal music, festive favourites and audience carols, all accompanied by the Southend Concert Orchestra.

The Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs perform regularly in London’s major churches and concert halls, including Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, St Martin in the Fields and St John’s Smith Square. They have appeared in the BBC Proms concerts on many occasions, in addition to working with professional orchestras and ensembles, including Philharmonia, RPO, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and Locrian Ensemble. The choirs overseas tours have included performing in Sydney Opera House, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, St Mark’s Venice, St Peter’s Rome and cathedrals across Europe, US, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong.
