‘Showtime for Hats’

‘Showtime for Hats’ is a free exhibition less than 5 minutes walk from Luton train station.

It is the first UK exhibition of its kind, focusing solely on hats for theatre, film, TV and opera. A celebration of the milliners and hatters in The British Hat Guild who create specialist headwear for this niche. Many of them have them have been in the business for decades!

Sean Barrett, Sophie Lambe, Sally-Ann Provan, Jane Smith and Noel Stewart are amongst the 18 milliners presenting work in this Culture Trust Luton exhibition space. Come and be inspired! So often the audience’s favourite character is wearing a hat.

Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm

Saturdays: closed in September/ open every Saturday in October
