SAMSUNG SOLVE FOR TOMORROW NEUROPOD LIVE AT CLAPHAM LIBRARY

October 10 October 17

As part of Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow award-winning initiative that empowers the next generation of visionaries through education, partners and technology, a neurodiversity pod – to help neurodivergent people who may struggle with concentration and task completion –

has been installed for free public use at Clapham Library to help fuel creativity and help remove the distractions of the outside world.

Solve for Tomorrow invites 16-25-year-olds across the UK and Ireland to submit their ideas that address a problem within the area of Education, Sustainability, Equity, Diversity and inclusion, and Health & Wellbeing for the chance to take part in a series of workshops, receive invaluable mentorship from Samsung employees and industry experts, and win a coveted £10,000 top prize.

The interactive pod uses Samsung SmartThings technology to change the lighting setting to suit the needs of the user:

  • Blue – Encourages mind flow and attention
  • Orange – Promotes better focus and creativity
  • Green – Aids calmness, efficiency and concentration

The pod will be located at Clapham Library until 17 October 2023. Opening Times: Tuesday to Friday (10 am – 6 pm) and Saturday and Sunday (1 pm -5 pm).
