Winchester Baroque announces PRISMS – the first Lunchtime Recital of the season at St Dunstan-in-the-West.
PRISMS reopens the first season of summer Lunchtime Recitals at St Dunstan-in-the-West after a six-month closure, including a first peek at the bespoke chandelier that is the new centrepiece of its octagonal interior.
For this occasion, Winchester Baroque presents a music and storytelling programme from the seventeenth century to now on violin and harpsichord. The programme is inspired by light, its reflections and its play with colour.
Music by 17th and 18th-century composers Giovanni Antonio Pandolfi Mealli, Marco Uccellini, François Couperin, and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach paired with a contemporary piece by composer Carlotta Ferrari ‘Reflection of Light’ (2015).
