From 3-9 June, a multi-disciplinary pop-up art exhibition is coming to London’s vibrant Southbank showcasing established and emerging pieces from Pittsburgh artists. Pittsburgh Art on the Bank, overseen and curated by a panel of Pittsburgh arts administrators, including VisitPITTSBURGH, Greater Pittsburgh Art Council and Arts and Culture at Pittsburgh International Airport, is an immersive presentation of the city’s diverse talent featuring original tapestry pieces, digital installations, visual poems on acrylic, canvas oil paintings and archived photography.

Celebrated as one of the best arts and culture destinations in the US, Pittsburgh has earned its reputation as a must visit destination for creatives. Not only is it the birthplace of legendry pop-artist Andy Warhol, it is also home to the seven-storey Andy Warhol Museum showcasing over 3,300 of his pieces; The Carnegie Museum of Art, committed to championing creativity; contemporary art museum The Mattress Factory, providing a living and working space for artists around the world; historic 19th century art museum The Frick, that showcases a selection of fine art and furnishings and just outside of the city, world class architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s, Fallingwater
