This is one of a season of outdoor screenings of films relating to the climate crisis, presented by Wild Horses of Fire! Film club to complement Bethnal Green Nature Reserve‘s interdisciplinary Experimental School of Urban Ecologies. It will be followed by a discussion on the themes raised by the film.

2 hours. Sesotho language with English subtitles.
Content warning: grief, suicide, and community displacement.

The following screening will take place on 1 August, with The Epic of Everest: a contemporaneous document of the doomed 1924 Mallory—Irvine Mount Everest expedition, which we will use to open a conversation about colonialism as a driver of environmental destruction.
