The Third Culture Collective collaborate with Tamil-British singer Ashnaa in Dalston’s iconic live music venue, The Jago.
The Third Culture Collective journey through entwined musical cultures from nineteenth-century Germany to modern India. Having just toured India to great acclaim, they’ll bring a set of indo-jazz fusion, western classical, and new music to Dalston.
Director Kavi Pau’s arrangements will showcase everything from Bruckner and Schumann to raga-inspired jazz, offering a seamless blend of East and West.
Carnatic vocalist Ashnaa will join the Collective for this performance, presenting traditional Indian classical music and new compositions that blend singing techniques and languages worldwide.
