Music Halls Project is very proud to present Samantha Whates and Ida Wenøe lives at The Sanctuary, Greenleaf Road Baptist Church.
As Ida Wenøe & Samantha Whates made their way around the UK on their first co-headline tour in early March of 2020, it was clear something weird was happening around them, the radio in the tour bus was talking of nothing else, the chat at the merch table was becoming more and more about one thing, audience starting to question whether to come to shows which they had been anticipating attending for months.
Despite the rumbles of imminent lockdown, Ida and Samantha played right to their last show, and a few days later, we were in our homes for over a year. The music stopped.
Ida and Samantha will be heading out again in March 2022 to do it again, but with bells on! They have been working hard to make a fantastic show of brand new, never performed material and collaborating on new arrangements of older favourite songs! Expect beautiful harmonies, a multi-instrumental element played by the pair and perhaps some special guests along the way too! It’s how it was but even better! This will appeal to fans of Ida Wenøe & Samantha Whates!
