Marylebone Village International Women’s Day Panel Event
March 3, 2025 @ 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Event Navigation

Marylebone Village is home to a community of independent fashion labels, global lifestyle brands, and restaurants founded by inspirational women, and to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025, the central London shopping and dining destination announces a week of events, in-store activities, and promotions in support of their female founders.
Not only will the women behind the businesses of Marylebone Village be championed throughout the week, but a live panel discussion event will start the week on Monday 3rd March 2025 taking place at The Marylebone Hotel.
Event capacity is limited, so spaces are being allocated via a ticket ballot. Apply for a pair of tickets via the Marylebone Village website via this dedicated link here.
Hosted and moderated by local Marylebone Village resident and broadcaster Jo Good, the panel features an impressive line-up of leading female business trailblazers:
- Henrietta Rix, co-founder of RIXO: With one of her best friends and co-founder Orlagh McCloskey, Henrietta has built a cult following from the British womenswear label’s vintage-inspired silhouettes and hand-painted prints to create a covetable brand DNA that’s instantly recognisable.
- Marielle Wyse, founder of WYSE London: Following a successful career in television, Marielle took some time out to bring up her kids before embarking on her own fashion label at age 49. What started as a handful of colourful cashmere jumpers has grown into a brand to answer all your style needs – but more importantly, to make you feel good.
- Jennie Allen, founder of Bayley & Sage: With a vision to create fresh food stores with the most delicious produce without compromising on quality, the B&S story began in 1997. Today the products reflect the best of the season, with 13 stores found in popular communities.
- Stacy Chan, founder of PLATFORM: After a decade working in finance in New York, London and Geneva, Stacy decided to pursue her passion to champion and support the growth of independent brands. Her concept store showcases designers and artists that speak the future in fashion: sustainable, quality made and carefully crafted.
The evening is set to be inspiring and empowering, with discussions covering the obstacles, journeys, and milestones across the panellists’ careers in fashion and hospitality, plus a variety of topics including equality, work life balance and career advice for the next generation of entrepreneurs, as well as this year’s theme for IWD – Accelerate Action.
After the panel events, guests are invited to network and enjoy complimentary drinks and nibbles kindly provided by The Marylebone. The event will be fundraising on the evening and attendees are encouraged to bring toiletries to donate to the Marylebone Project’s Sanctuary, the UK’s sole women’s-only drop in centre that’s open 24/7, 365 days a year.
