Frankie said Relax but Dawn had other ideas. Fame and fortune were waiting but somehow the Universe worked against her. Working 9-5 and being a netball mum kept her feet on the ground until one day she decided it was her time to Shine Like Stars. Having spent summers with an itchy bum after donkey rides on British beaches, Lulu is canvassing posh people to think twice about where to spend a gap ‘yaah’; advising them to go ‘find themselves’ in New Brighton, Blackpool and of course, Rhyl.
Comedian, actor and proud Welsh woman, Lulu Simons brings her cutting wit and waggish charm to Council Estate Gap Year (WIP); a love letter to her working class upbringing.
