LSE Festival Free Family Event – 17th June
June 17 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
The London School of Economics is hosting the annual LSE Festival, and you are invited to join us in FREE family-friendly activities for all ages on 17 June!
The LSE has a long history of being a site for activism and campaigns for change, and the library is using the archives to inspire the next generation!
Join us on 17 June to join in workshops with trained artists, musicians, and educators alongside a cohort of primary school pupils to take part in creating your own artwork and songs about the causes that are important to you. Our workshops will offer creative opportunities to ensure your voice is heard!
Drop into our Campaign HQ from 11:00-16:00 to make a mark on our graffiti wall or design your very own tote bag, badge or noise maker that sends a message about a cause you care about! We will have something for activists of all ages!
Book-in to participate in a Protest Song Writing Workshop at 11 am, 12 noon, 2 pm or 3 pm with Community Composer Tom Cook, who will lead the group with guitar in hand to create a lyrical miracle. Participants of all ages can contribute their thoughts and words to create a song that demonstrates community, unity, and action!
