Learn how to lino-print in a relaxed and friendly setting with an LGBTQ+ group
About this event
As part of the “Dive In” season at St Margaret’s House, I’m excited to offer this LGBTQIA+ lino-printing workshop at The Create Place in Bethnal Green.
Over the two hours we have together; I’ll take you through the lino-printing process from start to finish. We’ll begin with a few warm-up drawing skills, leading into some lino cutting techniques and demonstrating how to transfer your design onto a lino block. During the second part of the workshop, you’ll learn how to carve your design and, finally, how to make a print!
Prices are on a pay what you can scale and include all resources; plus, you’ll get to take your print and lino block home!
I’m looking forward to bringing a group of queer people together to learn a new creative skill.
