JAZZ POETRY/SPOKEN WORD @DALSTON LOUNGE

April 14 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

£8
Jazz and Poetry

This is Jazz-Poetry like they used to do in the 60s. Inspired by the Beat Generation (Kerouac, Ginsberg, Ferlinghetti) and the Black Poetry of Langston Hughes, and propulsed by freely improvised jazz. Quirky performance poet performs with playful jazz improvisers. A celebration of love… life… lust… joy… jazz. Delivered with delightful risqué humour.

The Dalston Lounge is a tiny, cozy bar held by charming, culture-loving, poetry-promoting people in Dalston. The vibe is just so cool.
