Join Grayson Perry CBE at The National Gallery for an In Conversation event as part of this year’s Mental Wealth Festival.
Grayson will be sharing his views on how art can contribute to positive mental wellbeing with City Lit Principal Mark Malcomson CBE. This lively discussion will conclude with a presentation of Grayson’s Fellowship Award to celebrate his newest achievement of becoming a City Lit Lifetime Fellow.
Grayson Perry CBE is an English contemporary artist. He is known for his ceramic vases, tapestries and cross-dressing, as well as his observations of the contemporary arts scene, and for dissecting British “prejudices, fashions and foibles” Starting out his career as a controversial “transvestite potter”, Grayson has since become a Turner-Prize-winning artist; BAFTA-winning documentary maker; author; social commentator; curator and Reith lecturer.
