Celebrations start on Regent Street outside the entrance of the store, where kids are invited to dream big and take a photo with the interactive Barbie display that asks, “What Will You Be?”
Moving up to the 2nd floor, there will be music and entertainment where kids and adults alike can take part in karaoke, party games, dance offs, free face painting and pick up balloons and stickers to take home. Plus, everyone attending will have the chance to have a photo in the life-size Barbie box and share it on Instagram using #Hamleys and # YouCanBeAnything for the chance to win a selection of Barbie toys including the 60th anniversary career dolls.
Hamleys will also be hosting other activities including:
• An interactive screen that invites kids to get creative and pick out outfits for their favourite Barbie characters
• Free Barbie magazine in a gift bag for the first 250 kids who come in store to join in the fun
• A makeover station where kids can experiment with glitter, hair chalk and nail painting
• Spend £20 on Barbie toys and receive a Barbie Chelsea Doll and Dress Up Set or Barbie Fashionista Doll completely free
