Taking place on Wednesday 17 September at Battersea Arts Centre in London, Back Up’s iconic fashion event will be an electrifying evening to celebrate inclusion, showcase adaptive, sustainable fashion and raise money to transform lives after spinal cord injury.
Spinal cord injury can happen to anyone, at any time. Every two hours, someone’s life in the UK changes forever due to a spinal cord injury. And today, around 105,000 people across the nation are living with the effects of spinal cord injury.
Styled by fashion and style consultant Lisa Wisdom, eight incredible models affected by spinal cord injury will be the stars of the show, including Sex Education actor George Robinson, athlete Justin Levene and lifestyle blogger Heidi Herkes.
That’s why Front Row: Next Gen is more than just a fashion show – it can make the difference between surviving or thriving.
Back Up is committed to ensuring that anyone affected by spinal cord injury can get the support they need. The money raised from Front Row: Next Gen will help Back Up to provide vital services to help transform lives. From wheelchair skills training to activity courses, mentoring to career development, Back Up empowers people to live confidently, make meaningful connections and reach their full potential.
Sponsored by law firm and Back Up’s corporate partner Slater and Gordon, the event takes place at the historic Battersea Arts Centre in London. The magnificent Grand Hall provides the stunning backdrop for three catwalk shows from adaptive and sustainable brands Intotum, Faduma Clothing, May Marigold and Recondition, plus pre-loved luxury from Designer Exchange.
