Free Wimbledon Screenings at Islington Square This Summer

Islington Square, located on Upper Street, will host free Wimbledon screenings in partnership with Urban Food Fest from 30th June until 13th July on the open-air boulevard.  

Watch this year’s Wimbledon at Islington Square on comfy deck chairs or bring your own picnic blanket. There are plenty of food & drink options from Megan’s, OMNOM, Bewliehill, Selv Roastery and The Great Chase. Plus try refreshing cocktails and mocktails from The Bottle Cocktail Shop. 

On Saturday and Sunday (5th, 6th  July and 12th, 13th July) from 11am – 5pm during the Wimbledon screenings, there will be an exciting addition to the artisan market with the Urban Food Fest bar, which will be serving a complimentary Pimm’s, Gin & Tonic, Rum cocktail, ginger ale mocktail or soft drink with every purchase from the market*. Alongside this, visitors can buy cocktails, craft beers and soft drinks from the bar. Unwind and relax in the vintage furniture seating area, while families can enjoy free child-friendly arts and crafts workshops where young tennis fans can decorate a tennis ball and enjoy Wimbledon-themed colouring. There will also be a delicious selection of Wimbledon themed desserts on offer to purchase.  

Islington Square is a vibrant and spacious shopping, dining & leisure destination on Upper Street, located between Angel and Highbury & Islington. Once a postal sorting office, this renovated Baroque building is now home to independent restaurants, cafes, bars; luxury health club; six-screen cinema; a theatre and a wide range of fashion and design shops. It also offers the best alfresco eating and drinking spot for the summer months.
