Jagermesiter presents a full day of punk, hip hop metal and rock.
Y-BOT- Many bands throughout the history of music have attempted to “blend” rock music with hip-hop, punk music with rapping, spoken word with modern composing and every combination imaginable. Y-BOT has finally got it right. Spawned from the ashes of London art-rock group Manflu and the legacy of My Bloody Valentine, Y-BOT presents a new virtually un-nameable vision of modern music.
Antlerz- Hailing from London, the quartet released their CRUSHING DEMO “.Antlerz” (2018) to show that you don’t need to lose Rhythm if you want to be heavy, and you don’t need to lose Funk if you want to be powerful!
JOIN THE MOB!!!!
The Good For Nothings- Tin Pan Alley Rock n Roll.
Lonesome
Charrette.- Charrette seemed a fitting name for a project conceived at art school . . . and the bars surrounding. Discussions at pint-level or huddled around a rained-out barbecue led to aspirations to do something better with the time.
Ewan C. Grant flourished whilst completing his Masters in Design at Glasgow School of Art, working and creating in an environment surrounded by like-minded individuals. It was in this time that he met artist and collaborator, Steven Andrew Swinney. Working with shapes inspired by Glasgow’s Brutalist architecture and fonts inspired by their favourite pubs, the pair constructed a visual identity for, what is now, Charrette. The intent of the project being almost as much visual as it is audible with Grant often taking inspiration from previously created visual concepts put forward by Steven.
Musically, Ewan’s class-oriented output eventually spilled over from obscure techno-driven audio-visual art into classically structured pop songs with guitars. Whilst retaining the elements of experimentation, Grant felt the limits of potentially forming a conventional band. The addition of a trusty zoom recorder helped expand the rhythms and atmospheres to create more unique soundscapes. Sampled recordings of subway ticket machines and speech emanating from surrounding streets were used to give the “instrumentation” an aesthetic relevance to the subjects.
Charrette’s artistic process is steeped in the love for the simple pleasures of a Scottish upbringing — red blaze football pitches, scraped knees, and the truthful flaws and sensitivity of an alcoholic norm — along with the dichotomy of being someone who enjoys yet struggles with the inherent toxicity in said subjects.
Mister Lizard
SCANDINAVIA- SCANDINAVIA is a DIY power pop from London. We’ve self-produced and released five full-length albums.
The Yacht Club- The Yacht Club started as an experimental solo outing from Marcus Gooda as a means to write songs solely for himself with no grand plans to push things further. In 2013, the debut EP “A” was born, taking notes from the delicate yet technical sounds of American Football, Pennines and TTNG. “A” was self released and sold out of physical copies and shirts within two months.
In 2015 after a tumultuous couple of years of turning down show offers and tours, The Yacht Club woke up from dormancy and began life as a band anew, releasing the math rock inspired self titled EP in 2015, and the polar opposite ‘back to roots of songwriting’ EP ‘Fall’ in 2016.
In 2017 the band released an instrumental version of their 2015 S/T EP recorded with a former line up.
Since then, after several line up changes, the band has grounded themselves with a solid consistent line up, and with the addition of co-lead vocalist/guitarist Jack Holland The Yacht Club is more of a band unit than ever.
January 2019 saw the release of their long awaited debut album, “The Last Words That You Said To Me Have Kept Me Here And Safe”.
Kneaded- the best thing since sliced bread.
Failed Psychics- We’re all failed psychics. These particular ones are Alex, Sam and James in Brighton who play whatever they can with semi-acoustic, bass, voice and drums.
Duncan Ewart Music- Duncan writes songs and sings them at people in order to fulfil a deep-seated need for attention.
“That was alright that lad” – Comedian John Bishop
Impressions from gig audiences:
“That was a bit loud”
“You swear alot, you should learn more words”
“Yeah, it was alright”
“I need to leave”
Ashwin Bhandari- Front person of Night Swimming.
Indigo Veil- This music is created through inspiration with the help of cheap garageband beats and synths.
