This holiday season, London’s newest independent entertainment venue, Catford Mews, will transform into the Enchanted Mews. Offering the residents of South London, a one-stop destination to enjoy the festive period with a weekly Christmas Fayre, festive workshops and experiences, plus family screenings of Christmas classics.

Capturing the seasons’ spirit, Catford Mews will build an immersive Enchanted Kingdom – complete with ‘Ice Castle’ – taking inspiration from upcoming Disney blockbuster Frozen 2. Whilst children explore, parents and carers can enjoy the pop-up Beefeater gin bar which opens for the festive season. The Enchanted Kingdom will also be available for private bookings and experience led children’s parties, with afternoon teas, wreath making or bauble painting available to book from 23 November.

From 1 December a traditional Christmas Fayre will pop-up within the Enchanted Kingdom every weekend until 22 December, showcasing a selection of locally sourced food, drink and gifts from some of the Capital’s finest vendors. Visitors will be able to purchase their Christmas trees from Tree-ly every weekend in December up until Christmas and an exciting range of Christmas gifts will be available to purchase, including plants from Canopy Plants, homemade prints/stationary from BADDesign Store, books from Dinky Dot and Christmas bouquets and wreaths from Into the Wild Florist and Wilde Jasmine.

The Enchanted Mews will kick off their festive screenings with Disney’s blockbuster Frozen 2 on 22nd November and will offer a series of other family screenings including Cbeebies Christmas Show: Hansel & Gretel, The Muppet Christmas Carol and The Grinch. Other showings in December will include live broadcasts of the musical phenomenon Les Misérables: The staged concert, one woman show Fleabag and Swedish cult classic Fanny & Alexander. Plus, Star Wars fans can enjoy a triple bill and The Rise Of Skywalker Midnight screening on 18 December!
Throughout December, the Enchanted Mews will also offer an exciting variety of events, from a BREXMAS election viewing party, with politically themed games, drinks, and live coverage of the 2019 General Election on 12 December, to a Christmas Film Quiz on 10 December, and live music performance from The Bleedin’ Liberties on 15 December, plus film making workshops for kids with Animating Education on 15 (film making focused) & 20 December (animation focused).

In addition, the Enchanted Mews guests will be able to enjoy delicious and warming delights from mulled wine, cider and gin cocktails at the bar and from Compound Coffee, plus treats from the Catford Mews food stalls including; Daun’s Deli, Patty Man, FUSÉ and Bears Dough.
