Dylon Rethink New Laundrette

As an official partner of London Fashion Week February 2025, Dylon invites you to the ‘Rethink New Laundrette’, an exciting pop up giving you the opportunity to reimagine, rework and revive an old favourite item from your wardrobe to make it feel brand new again.

Through a series of masterclasses – hosted by renowned experts from the sustainable fashion world including Shakaila Forbes-Bell, The New Craft House and Andrea Cheong – guests will learn new skills to renew their existing fashion staples.

Part of the London Fashion Week City Wide Celebration, the chic laundrette at 28 Henrietta Street will run between Thursday 20^th February to Sunday 23^rd February and aims to get you to rethink the concept of ‘new’ by exploring new ways to wear and care for your favourite garments, enabling you can keep them for longer.

Inspired by Dylon’s revolutionary new detergent with Triple Renew Technology, the interactive experience will teach you how to revive your much-loved yet tired items. Or even bring a pre-loved find that needs a bit of extra care.  Witness the transformative power of Dylon’s Triple Renew formula – which gently cleans, revitalises colours, and renews fibres to look brand new in just 10 washes.

Embracing the ‘Rethink New’ Mindset

Helping you to refresh your wardrobe, the Rethink New Laundrette will be home to a series of  exclusive workshops hosted by sustainable fashion specialists, The New Craft House with special guest appearances from fashion psychologist, Shakaila Forbes-Bell, author and podcaster, Andrea Cheong, sustainable stylist and Director of Fashion at Dylon Detergent, Victoria Lee and embroidery expert, Emillie Ferris.

• Renew 101: Master essential sewing, fixing, and darning techniques.

• Bagged It!: Transform unwanted clothing into a stylish wash bag.
• Embroidery: Add personalised flair to your wardrobe with unique embroidery.

Each masterclass will last approx. 1 hour and a half in total. All you need to bring with you is one item of clothing from your wardrobe that you want to renew, all other materials will be provided.

Entry to the launderette is free. Masterclass tickets are £7.50, with proceeds donated to the British Fashion Council Foundation, supporting the future growth and success of the British fashion industry by focusing on education, grant-giving, and business mentoring.
