City Walk-in Clinic is hosting an educational event for GPs titled Update in the Management of Anxiety and Depression with Dr Sophie Redlin.
This practical, evidence-based session is aimed at busy primary care clinicians and will explore contemporary approaches to identifying, assessing, and managing anxiety and depression—two of the most common presentations in general practice. The programme will cover updated prescribing guidance, psychological interventions, risk assessment, strategies for managing treatment resistance, and criteria for referral to specialist services.
With a strong focus on everyday clinical practice, the session will highlight real-world decision-making, common diagnostic and management challenges, and holistic approaches to supporting patients within modern primary care. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in discussion, ask questions, and share clinical experiences with colleagues.
