Digital Skills Festival 2024: Digital Her Day

Our Digital Her programme takes the spotlight on the Thursday of the Digital Skills Festival 2024, featuring inspiring talks, workshops & panels for women in tech.

It’s a chance for women to connect, upskill & feel inspired, and is supported by organisations passionate about gender equity in the digital sector. We also welcome allies & advocates who want to learn from the day’s conversations

Digital Her’s mission is to help end gender inequality in the technology sector. We inspire and encourage women across Greater Manchester to pursue careers in digital, and support women already working in tech to thrive.

Who is Digital Her Day aimed at?

Digital Her Day is aimed at women working in the tech sector, as well as allies & advocates who want to learn from the day’s conversations and support the women around them to thrive.

Support our Charity Partner – FareShare Greater Manchester

Manchester Digital has chosen FareShare Greater Manchester as our Charity Partner for the Digital Skills Festival 2024. FareShare is an incredible project that works to combat food waste and food poverty in our city.

Currently, in Greater Manchester, one in four children are living in a food insecure household. This means that they do not have regular access to satiating and nutritious food.

We want to harness the power of our community to help change this, by supporting the fantastic work FareShare Greater Manchester do.

Our Digital Skills Festival events are all free to attend, so we’re encouraging attendees to make a donation to FareShare Greater Manchester in lieu of paying for a ticket.

By securing a ticket for this event you are consenting to receive information from Manchester Digital regarding the logistics of this event and a follow-up email post-event, we may also need to share any access requirements you have provided with a 3rd party such as the venue.

After we have sent your follow up event email we will hold your data for no longer than 6 months and during this time we will not share your information with third parties or contact you, unless you have given us consent to do so.
