Join us for the first film event of 2025 at the Liszt Institute for a compelling evening of Hungarian cinema. The screening of Hungarian director and cinematographer Barbara Baska’s newest documentary, ‘Baska is speaking Hungarian’, will be followed by a live Q&A with the director.
This experience is a unique opportunity to get to know Barbara Baska’s newest documentary, the Hungarian Motion Picture Festival 2024 winner. Exploring themes of transgenerational trauma and memory, the film was screened in New York and Toronto and now debuts in London at the Hungarian Cultural Centre.
