Enjoy Chinatown through the digital eyes. Download the app and tour around Chinatown and see Chinatown like you have never seen it before. The Chinese Art Now and artist Donald Shek has prepared a fun experience for you. From digital sculptures, video installations to artist tour.
Get to know Chinatown more on the unique digitized tour. Interesting happenings will be explained. Donald will share the layered histories of the area, the Chinese community and the Chinese diaspora, exploring the themes of identity, cultural symbolism and myth.
The tour takes audience members through each of the digital installations from the early beginnings of the creation myth in Chinese mythology to the present day. Augmented Chinatown will bring new light to these stories and their links to other cultures such as the Tower of Babel, Prometheus and the Elysian Fields.

Due to the size of the app (587mb) it is recommend that you download the app on WIFI prior to joining the tour. Once downloaded the app does not use any data.
TICKETS
Tickets £15/10 include limited edition screen printed map of Chinatown with the augmented reality points. If you are unable to make any of the tour times, you can still pick up a map of the installations from Gwanghwa Bookshop.
