Around the world in beer – international beer styles training

This training course is aimed at beer lovers (both experienced and less experienced) who want to understand more about different international beer styles.

In total, six beers will be tasted, showing beer styles from Europe and beyond, and we’ll be covering:

• Impact of a beer’s ingredients and looking at different waters and yeast as well as malts and hops
• Different types of wheat beers and lagers
• Lautering
• Regional European beer styles
• Abbaye versus Trappists
• How European brewing influenced the USA and further afield
• Identifying key aspects of a beer and describing a beer.
