DOOT invites you to join them for an evening of new sonic possibilities.
Spanning a wealth of genres and sounds, the duo aims to provide a thought-provoking night of music that goes against the grain.
Come with your ears and minds open.
About DOOT: We are DOOT, a Sheffield-based bass clarinet and baritone saxophone duo made up of Henry McNamara and Kirsten Beveridge. Our aim is to develop new works for our unusual duo, by working with composers to develop interesting concepts and push the boundaries of possibility for our instruments (and our composers), individually and as a collective. We then take these compositions to a wide variety of different venues and outreach projects to spread the good word of DOOT. We have performed both at home and internationally, and welcome all audiences from prestigious conferences and local bars alike. Our music is infinite, and our membership is two.
