Pianist Elena Toponogova and Soprano Eleanor Penfold present Serene Sounds, a classical sound bath experience. Featuring pieces connected to the theme of water, this peaceful and relaxing sound bath promotes a deep state of relaxation while connecting with the music and the sounds of water. The music featured includes Chopin’s Raindrop Prelude and Debussy’s The Sunken Cathedral, as well as instruments such as Koshi chimes, an ocean drum, and a rain stick for the ultimate immersive audio experience.
Combining voice and piano with traditional instruments used for sound healing meditation will transport audiences to a place of relaxed focus. The audience will lie down on a candle-lit stage close to the performers, providing a unique way of experiencing music. Your escape awaits.
While we will have some yoga mats available at the venue, we always encourage people to bring any yoga mats, pillows and blankets to make themselves as comfortable as possible.

“I told my husband how much I loved your event and felt quite relaxed after! I found the choice of pieces worked extremely well. The piano generally had a wave-like quality of music, and the pace of the singing was again on target. There was a quiet energy, power to the pieces and your performance that inspired me in my meditative state.”
