600 Seconds: FUTURESHOCK – An eclectic mix of comedy, drama

February 19 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Comedy and Drama Events in London

Eight short playlets, all ten minutes long, performed ‘script in hand’ on the theme of technology’s
impact on society. An eclectic mix of comedy, drama, the quirky and the surreal, expect a journey into
the near future. This is not to be missed for lovers of Black Mirror and The Twilight Zone!

Jonathan Kaufman says: ‘Over the years our scratch nights have become hugely popular – audiences
love new writing, especially in these short-form formats – with each playlet lasting no more than 10
minutes, or 600 seconds, there’s rarely time to get bored, and no piece outstays its welcome. The
performers also love to take part: without learning the lines, they can concentrate on bringing
each writer’s vision to life in a spontaneous way. And the writers welcome seeing their work
performed for a live audience – such a great way to develop their craft!’

Tickets: £15 standard, £20 pay a little more, £10 pay a little less
