Spontaneous Productions is thrilled to announce its latest theatrical offering, ‘600 SECONDS: 7 DEADLY SINS’ This compelling evening of original comic and dramatic short playlets will debut at the Sydenham Centre, kicking off its 2025 Spring season with a deadly twist!
The concept is simple yet captivating: seven individuals find themselves in Purgatory, their earthly lives laid bare for judgement. Through seven original ten-minute playlets, the audience will witness their sins, ranging from pride and envy to gluttony and anger, before they help to make a big decision: who should be saved and who condemned?
Each playlet has been crafted by talented members of Spontaneous Productions’ ScriptHub workshops, showcasing the breadth and depth of local creative talent. These works will be performed ‘script in hand’ by a professional cast, promising a mix of humour, drama, and insight into the human condition.
This marks Spontaneous Productions’ 14th new writing scratch night since the series began in 2012, solidifying its reputation for delivering innovative and thought-provoking theatre experiences.
