England Women will face the number one team in the world, Australia, in what is set to be an enthralling Ashes series taking place across England in June and July.
The Women’s Ashes multi-format series will start on Thursday, 22 June, and with more than 65,000 tickets sold already, this summer’s showdown series is expected to break all attendance records for women’s international fixtures in England.
It is the first year that the fiercest competition in cricket has both men’s and women’s competitions being played alongside one another, with equal prominence, at the biggest grounds.
Heather Knight’s team will visit The Kia Oval (London) on Wednesday 5th July, as they host their first ever Women’s Ashes IT20s – the 20-over format of the game.
