February 23, 2022 @ 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Event Navigation

London’s Docklands area has always been a constantly changing and evolving landscape. Join us at the Museum of London Docklands to take a look at the change industrialisation has had on the area and how regeneration has impacted the landscape and the communities that were once so integral to the character of the Docklands.
Join our Chair, Curator of Painting, Prints and Drawings, Thomas Ardill and a host of speakers who will discuss the physical and socio-political changes of the landscape of the Docks.
Speakers:
Sue Brownill – Dr Sue Brownill is a Professor in Urban Policy and Governance at Oxford Brookes University. Her research focuses on public participation and spatial equity in planning and regeneration, affordable housing and community planning and localism. Before moving to Oxford, she worked with community organisations in London’s Docklands.
Kimi Chaddah – a freelance journalist specialising in features, profiles and opinion writing across government policy, education, climate change and activism. In 2021, she received the ‘New Freelancer of the Year’ Award at the UK Writing Awards.
